How is an IRTIM system configured?
Define the number*, types and location of the thermal imaging cameras you need, depending on the geometrical characteristics of the space to be protected:
Minimum resolution required
Field of View (FOV)
Fixed mounting or with Pan&Tilt positioner
*For systems requiring only one camera, the Smart version is available.
See compatible thermal imaging cameras.
Defines the environment in which the cameras are to be installed in order to select the environmental protection element, if necessary:
Corrosive environments
High or low temperature environments
Dirty and/or humid environments
Explosive environments
See environmental protection equipment.
There is the option of visible cameras to support the thermal imaging cameras.

Depending on the number and type of thermal imaging cameras previously selected and the foreseen future expansions, it is necessary to select the CPU (Control Unit), which mayinclude optional accessories such asmemory expansion or anEthernet I/O module.
See Control Units.
1. SELECT THE RIGHT CAMERA
Thermal Imaging Cameras for IRTIM Software
Not all needs require the same thermographic solution, although it is true that the higher the resolution, the better the definition of the thermal image, depending on the requirements of the position and location of the camera we will choose some specifications or others.

2. PROTECT YOUR CAMERA
Protective housings and Pan&Tilt positioners
To protect the camera and ensure its proper functioning when operating in harsh environments, it is essential to protect them with the appropriate housing. Depending on the size and geometry of the space to be protected, fixed camera mounting, mounting with pan-tilt positioners or a combination of both systems can be chosen.
